Cashore is quite a remarkable woman and I have every respect for her. Her novels are up there in my top list of favorites and they are the books I escape to whenever I need one. I love all of the characters and the writing style is old mixed with modern, so it gives the reader the illusion of reading in old style, but because it is also modern they know what it is going on about. Very clever.
I would also like to add that her new novel Bitterblue is now out and I recommend it to everyone (of course read the first two novels the the series first).
